No one knows exactly what the
origin of the monument in the square is or how it was constructed. It was discovered buried
within the very bedrock of McCay City. When it began glowing after it was reassembled it was
likened to a gift left behind by some god. Indeed, much like Prometheus, it brought light to the people of this great city inspiring its scientists to make their own artificial light. |
