Polluck’s Folly

Even the landlocked ocean of Terrain has its lore of the great sailing vessels and their captains. Captain Polluk of the airship Wyeth is a son of a sea captain, and is passionate about the sea and the men who sailed it. His library is filled with such tales of valor against dark storms, raging wind and murderous swells. This painting hangs behind his desk. He claims that it illustrates his father heroism in the face of certain annihilation, but that is, like much of Polluk’s life, a lie.
