The Four Liberties

Next to Bonestell Valley, the birthplace of lighter-than-air travel, is this monument to the air ship, and to the lofty ideals of its inventors. The sculpture is symbolically guarded by four mythical figures called Liberties.  They are said to preserve and protect long list of rights that should be guaranteed to all people of a civilized nation: freedom of life, freedom from religious oppression, freedom to knowledge, freedom of art and words and freedom to think and doubt.
