Lehr Sea Shells (8.5X11 inches double-matted) The material in shells like these are what make airships light yet structurally strong. Lehr shells have an inner working of carbon/silicon fibers. It is a powerful chemical bond, not a molecular one that gives this tube-shaped compound its strength. The naturally occurring fibers are used to form the skeleton of the rigid airships that fly on this world.
