Lehr Sea Shells (8.5X11 inches double-matted)

The material in shells like these are what make airships light yet structurally strong. Lehr shells have an inner working of carbon/silicon fibers. It is a powerful chemical bond, not a molecular one that gives this tube-shaped compound its strength. The naturally occurring fibers are used to form the skeleton of the rigid airships that fly on this world. These airships use another pebbled material that air flows over with little resistance, making them much more maneuverable against the wind. Given all of their practical use, these shells remain quite beautiful and are especially treasured at this massive size.
