Drillheads

The creatures that live deep in the Coral Caverns, if they are to survive, are forced to scrape out their existence difficult subterranean ecology.  Drillheads have to work their way through deep coral for the smallest fragments of nourishment.  If not for their spinning mouth tusks they could never make it down to the tiny glowworms that fill the cavern walls and floor.  It’s not known exactly why the glowworms glow, but without them the cavern would be deeply dark.  The best guess offered is that a symbiosis is in effect that is not yet specified.
