Airship Castles

After the advent of the airship a number of castles in remote areas of the continent were now much easier to reach.  The feudal societies that built them had long ago died out from plague, over-farming of their isolated land and, ultimately, attrition. These abandoned palaces were converted into resorts for the wealthy.  Newer hotels even imitated this design motif.  Airships bring in all the food and supplies for these getaways.  The surrounding land can no longer support a large population.  They all have had mooring masts and landing pads installed.
