Booth Trees

On this otherwise barren island we found massive trees growing from the towering granite cliffs.  Hundreds of species lived in the lush leafy sections of these arboreal giants. All creatures on this island were  denizens of this life-giving vegetation.  A home in the Booth Trees clearly  offered a luxurious existence compared to the wasteland that surrounded them.  Such trees were ecosystems within themselves.  The animals in them never set foot (this would actually be impossible – they have no feet) on the ground in their entire life cycles.
